I have been hooked to this song ever since my cousin and her fiance made me listen to it last week. How could have I missed such a beautiful song? I need to see what else I have missed from ARR's Tamil movies. Its in Hamsadhwani if you are curious (other songs based on Hamsadhwani that I know are "sathiya tu ne kya kiya" "ghar se nikalte hi" "sum-sumne nagthale") Hamsadhwani is one of the easiest to identify - very simple and pleasant to hear. My admiration for Rahman increases with each passing day :-)

My Sassy Girl

After Ashwin and priyank's post about Korean movies I decided to watch "My Sassy Girl". An "OK" movie, comedy parts were extremely comical I was ROFLing :-) It's there on youtube.

I had also watched do re mi fa so la ti do on plane (the title was extremely tempting) - another decent Korean movie.

"Il Mare" "Please Teach Me English" and "Windstruck" coming up!

Mukta Title song

Mukta's title song is "Purvi" based. Purvi raaga based songs are usually depressing and deep. The tune of this song echoes the seriousness of TN Seetharam's serials themes. Music is by C. Ashwath, lyrics by Venkatesh Murthy, Male singer is C. Ashwath, not sure about female (Ratnamala Prakash?) Lyrics were too tough to follow, if anyone knows the complete lyrics please post!

Nice to hear that! Hindus form less than 1% of their population and people who do not follow any faith form 14% (wikipedia) I read somewhere that American politics is very unfriendly towards atheists.

Clearly Atif is struggling to sing, he loses the "sur" at 0.08 (a little) again at 0.58 after this he is completely struggling for breath.... at 2.02 Atif is way off pitch. If ordinary people like me can notice it .... Abijeet's reaction is not a surprise.

Regarding the reservation row that is happening....
I am not aware of the constitution/law etc. but is the decision made by the parliament final? can't it be challenged in the supreme court?
